Chapter 28 Using Connection Management
Connection Manager controls caches of connections that Jaguar components use to interact with third-tier servers. Connection management allows a Jaguar server to service hundreds of clients using only a few third-tier database server connections.
Connection Manager provides Java classes, PowerBuilder objects, and C routines for obtaining and releasing connections, as well as utility routines for monitoring cache use.
