Appendix A New Features in EAServer Version 3.6.1

Secure HTTP for Java

Jaguar 3.6.1 introduces support for HTTPS connectivity. Java application clients, servlets, and components can connect to Web servers using Jaguar's HTTPS protocol handler. Java clients use the SSL certificate management facilities provided by the standalone Security Manager. Java servlets and components use the Jaguar server's SSL certificate database. For more information on this feature, see Chapter 26, "Using HTTP and HTTPS Connections in Java," in the Jaguar CTS Programmer's Guide.
